Ingredients
5 Racks – Beef Back Ribs
1 Cup -Jack Daniels Whiskey
3 Tbsp – Dried chopped onion
3 Tbsp – Sea Salt
3 Tbsp – Garlic Powder
1/3 Cup – Olive Oil
2 Tsp – Red Pepper Flake
3 Tbsp – Black Pepper course
2 Tsp – Rosemary ( Ground)
2 Tbsp – Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 Tbsp – Butter
1 Cup – Apple Juice
1 Package – Cheesecloth
Instructions:
Step 1: Remove membrane from back of ribs (Best if use fork and paper towel to grip).
Step 2: Mix olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 apple juice.
Step 3: Apply wet ingredients, mixed in step 2 to both sides of beef ribs. Best if use rubber gloves and apply ingredients on ribs and rub ribs until evenly coated.
Step 4: Apply even coat of all dry seasonings listed to both sides of ribs. Measurements may slightly vary due to size of ribs
Step 5: Cut cheesecloth to wrap ribs. Single Layer of wrap per rib rack is ideal.
Step 6: Use BBQ brush and apply ribs / cheesecloth with Jack Daniels. Both sides.
Step 7: Put racks of ribs on cooling racks over cookie sheet and refrigerate overnight.
Step 8: Remove Ribs from refrigerator. Discard cheese cloth. Let beef Rest at room temperature for approx. 1 hr. This is a good time to start BBQ Grill!
Step 9: Heat BBQ grill to 250-275 degrees. Used Lump oak charcoal and apple chunks.
Step 10: Smoke Beef Ribs for approx 4 1/2 Hrs. During Smoking process mix butter and remaining apple juice on stove until butter is melted. Apply Mixture occasionally to beef ribs.
Step 11: Remove Ribs from smoker. Let rest 15 minutes.
Step 12: ENJOY!!!!
