How It’s Made – Hot Dogs

The statistics are out.  Over 7 billion hot dogs are eaten by Americans from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  That is a staggering 800+ hot dogs consumed per second and it is a whole lot of hot dogs.

And what is more surprising is that more than half of them do not think about what really is IN the meat.  They just simply love the meat that goes into it.

Fortunately for all of us, Science Channel produced this “How It’s Made” to educate the young and old.  They bring us behind the scene of the whole process of manufacturing 300 thousands of hot dogs per hour.

Take a few minutes to look through the video and you will be amazed.  30 millions viewership with 40K likes is something worth to watch.
