Spreader Chain Hot Dog Roasting Story Behind

Joe Bower, a farmer, took the sprockets and chains from one side of an old spreader and attached the sprockets to each end of a length steel tubing. He welded short steel rods to the chains to hold up to 40 hot dogs.
An electric motor is coupled to one of the sprockets. The sausages are roasted over an open fire while rotating the chains.
