We salute all those who fought for freedom with this roasted pepper Hell Fire Barbecue Sauce. Make some up for your Independence Day and then let the Fireworks begin.

The active ingredient in the peppers is NOT soluble in water. That’s why it keeps burning even when you wash. But the ingredient IS lipid and alcohol soluble. So if your skin is burning wash it in the strongest alcohol you have, or with vegetable oil. If it is in your eyes, then wash your eyes with milk – the more fat content in the milk, the better. Vegetable oil and milk fat is a source of lipids.
