How To Make Spatchcock Chicken

Jack Daniel’s Glaze Recipe

– 8oz Kosmo’s Q Competition BBQ Sauce
– 2oz Honey
– 8oz Kosmo’s Q Maple Brown Sugar
– 2oz Natural Lemonade
– 2oz Jack Daniel’s

Spatchcock Chicken Recipe Directions:

1. Mix 3/4 cup of product to 1/2 gallon (64 oz.) of water. Shake well. Let the chicken soak for 6 hrs. Rinse excess off thoroughly after soaking.

2. Remove the backbone of the chicken. Cut down both sides and remove it. Fold it in half and flip over.

3. Rub it with Honey Killer Bee under the skin.

4. Apply Blue Butter all over.

5. Rub down with our Dirty Bird Hot and another coat of Killer Bee.

6. Have your smoker running around 275-300°F. Smoke with Pecan
logs.

7. Put chicken in the smoker for about 3-4 hours until the thigh hits 165°F.

8. Apply glaze to chicken in the smoker for about 3-4 minutes.

9. Pull off and let rest.
