Street Food – Whole Pig Roast in Bali
Babi guling, or roast Balinese style pig, is a delicacy and one of the most popular food to eat in Bali, Indonesia. Today was a special opportunity because we went to a home where they roast the pigs for orders – most people order their pigs for events or family parties. We got to see the entire process of preparing and roasting the whole pigs. They fill it was paste, brush the pig with coconut water to make it extra crispy. Then they roasted it over a very hot fire for an hour.
